On the Earl of Chatham lately declaring, while lying ill in
bed, that if a crutch was not able to support him at the
next meeting of P-rl-m-t, he would be carried to the house,
and speak against the Ad------n in that horizontal posture.
Brave patriot speak! nor let thy spirits fail,
But o'er each tyrant's cursed arts prevail;
Once more in age redeem a tottering state,
And save Britannia from the jaws of fate
